About mhhe

mhhe aims to enhance learning and teaching about mental health through increasing networking and the sharing of approaches across the disciplines in UK higher education. See here for our objectives.

mhhe is a project of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) .  It is a collaboration between the HEA subject centres for:

• Health Sciences and Practice (HSaP)
• Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine(MEDEV)
• Psychology
• Social Policy and Social Work (SWAP)
• Education (ESCALATE)

and two of 74 centres funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) to promote excellence in teaching and learning:

• The Centre of Excellence in Interdisciplinary Mental Health(CEIMH)
• The Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning Mental Health and Social Work
