activity & future plans
Since 2003, mhhe has been working on:
- establishment of a national database of mental health educators
- development of regional networks
- facilitation of regional and national events
- development of a website, including regularly updated news, events and link sections
- collation of a set of case studies
- production of a good practice guide on involving users and carers in learning and teaching about mental health
- writing and dissemination of a regular e-bulletin
- establishment of an mhhe discussion list, and involvement in development of the Professional Education Public Involvement Network (PEPIN).
- establishment of a support network for Developers of User and Carer Involvement in Education (DUCIE)
