User and Carer Involvement
There is a growing recognition, across the disciplines of the vital role that service users and carers have to play in learning and teaching about mental health.
This has been an important area of focus for mhhe and partners with activity on a range of fronts.
- mhhe is involved in supporting two netorks: DUCIE and PEPIN
- We produced a good practice guide: Learning from Experience
- We have produced a user and carer involvement in education reading list.
- We contributed to an article on the barriers to involvement in Higher Education
- We have provided support to a number of Higher Education Academy mini-projects
- User and carer involvement has been the focus of a number of our events.
